7 Tips for a Perfect Application

7 Tips for a Perfect Application

Tip 1: Push back your cuticles gently

Before you start your manicure, use the cuticle pusher and push your cuticles back gently.

This gives you room to apply Base right up to the edge, so each round of application builds perfectly and evenly. This is where the magic begins.

Tip 2: Mix your colours before dipping

The powder may clump a little after time – this is completely normal. Feel free to use your cuticle pusher and gently stir the jar before dipping.

This will help the colour to adhere more evenly and beautifully to the nail – and you will avoid uneven surfaces.

Tip 3: Thin layers are key

When using Base or Glow, remove excess liquid by dragging the brush along the inside edge of the bottle.

Always apply thin, controlled layers. You'd rather build up in multiple passes than have to deal with clumps and overflow.

Tip 4: Clean the edges like a pro

After each layer: take out your cuticle presser and clean around the edges.

This removes excess powder that ends up on the skin and gives you sharper, cleaner lines. Small details = big difference.

Tip 5: Brush away excess powder – and wait a while

This is important! After each dip, you must brush off any excess powder before applying the next layer.

BUT – wait 2 minutes first. This will give the layer time to set and you won’t have to disturb the application.

When brushing: do it evenly. Loose powder can create bubbles in the next layer.

Tip 6: Use Clear as protection

After you apply the first layer of Seal, you apply a layer of Clear. It protects the pigments when you file and shape.

Clear is like the shield that saves your colour from being sanded away.

Tip 7: Check that your nails are hardened before filing

Don't stress about filing. Before you start smoothing, lightly tap on the surface of the nail.

If it still feels soft or "gives away", wait a little longer. Hardened nail = safe filing.

Voilà!

Use these tips the next time you do a GLAMRDiP manicure, and you'll notice the difference. Smoother coats, better hold, less stress.  💅✨
