How to Apply C-Curve Nail Tips
Share
📏 Step 1 – Pick the right nail tips
-
Find the right size for each nail. The tip should go from sidewall to sidewall, without pressure or overhang.
-
Do not force the tip into place – it should fit naturally.
-
Repeat for all the nails before you start gluing them on.
⚠️ Pro tip: Keep your tips in order! Don't mix them up – otherwise you risk your right thumb on your left pinky, and we want to avoid that.
🪒 Step 2 – Prepare the tips
-
Use 100 Grit file to roughen up the underside (the curved part) of the tips
-
This makes the Base stick much better.
-
Do this for all the tips before you start gluing.
📌 Yes, it's like renovating a wall before painting – the groundwork determines everything.
🧪 Step 3 – Apply Base and Stick
-
Apply a thin layer of Base along the edge of the nail tip
-
Press and hold the tip on the nail for about 20 seconds until it is set.
-
Repeat for each finger.
⏳ Keep even pressure – it should sit nicely on your nail
✂️ Step 4 – Trim and shape
-
Cut to desired length with scissors
-
File free edge and side walls with 240 Grit Pro file
-
Also file the top surface to smooth the transition between natural nail and tip.
-
Repeat for all nails.
🧼 Step 5 – Brush away excess
-
Brush all nails thoroughly to remove any dust or filing excess
💖 Voilà!
You now have perfect C-Curve nail tips, fitted and attached like a pro. You are now 100% ready for applying colour – and who knows, maybe even a little glitter gradient? ✨
