How to Repair a Broken Nail
Share
🔧 Step 1 – Prepare the nail
Start by lightly filing the broken area of the nail with the 240 Grit Pro File.
Don't overdo it – we just want to remove the crack, blend the damaged area and make room for new product.
Once the damaged area is smooth, and blended we can move to step 2.
💧 Step 2 – Prep and build up
-
Apply Bond liberally to the broken nail.
-
Next, apply a very thin layer of Base
-
Dip the nail in Clear – cover the entire nail
-
Gently brush away excess powder.
Note: If the colour has been removed you may need to apply the colour instead of clear during the next dip. -
Repeat the same process one more time: Base + Clear (or colour) + Brush
💡 Now you have built a small “band-aid” out of powder – and it works surprisingly well!
🛡 Step 3 – Seal and smooth
-
Apply a generous layer of Seal
-
Wait about 2 minutes – let it harden
-
Use the 240 Grit file and lightly smooth the surface
-
Brush away dust
-
Add another layer of Seal to set everything properly
✨ Step 4 – Glow and finish
-
Apply first coat of Glow
-
Let dry a little.
-
Apply a second coat of Glow – this time with a thinner layer, and slower stroke.
💖 Voilà!
That broken nail? It's history.
You just saved your manicure – in 5 minutes, all by yourself, and with zero stress.
Does it feel a bit like magic? That's because it is. ✨
And hey – the next time you break a nail, you know what to do:
You take a deep breath, pick up Clear, and say: “Not today, chaos.”
