How to Mix Colours

🎨 Option 1: Lighten a Colour with Clear
Want to make a colour a bit softer or more transparent?
Then mix it with Clear!
Examples:
-
Dusk + Clear → soft, light blue
-
Positivi-Tea + Clear → lighter burgundy red
The more Clear you add, the lighter the colour becomes.
👉 A good starting point is 50/50, but feel free to experiment!
💡 Pro tip: Write down your mixing ratios!
Example: 4 parts Positivi-Tea + 1 part Clear = dreamy result you’ll want to repeat.
💕 Option 2: Lighten with Pillow Talk
Pillow Talk is our go-to pink nude – and it works wonders when you want to lighten pigments.
Example:
-
Monte Carlo + Pillow Talk → deep red-purple becomes more muted and feminine
Perfect if you want to take a bold colour and make it more romantic or “clean girl” friendly ✨
🌈 Option 3: Combine Two Colours for a New Shade
Want to create your very own colour?
Mix two different dip colours together!
Example:
-
Daydream + Over It → a soft, purple-grey mix with a fresh attitude
Think: your personal GLAMRDiP signature.
✨ Option 4: Glitter Magic
Glitter makes EVERYTHING more fun – and you can mix it directly into a regular colour.
Example:
- Dusk + Head Over Heels → a glamorous, sparkling blue that catches the light from every angle.
Does it shine as much as your personality? Yes. Yeah. Absolutely.
